Stability of Product
THC degrades between 20-40% within the first year at room temperature. Variables that reduce the potency of cannabinoids during processing and storage include Temperature, Air Exposure, Moisture and UV light.
Shelf Stability – Degradation Rates
All phytonutrients are susceptible to degradation due to oxygen, moisture, heat, and UV. The degradation rates were studied for Ready to Mix (RTM) formulations by Esolate and the leading emulsion-based commercial product offering. Reduced degradation rates were observed in Esolated formats.
